In fact, I was pretty amused by it :) Thank you for writing such a g o r g e o u s story and for rekindling my love for the boys again. I stopped with their storyline around August '09 but I'm determined to catch up with everything I missed (angst and all) after reading your epic tale :') ♥ you and thanks also for being so patient with me for all the little bumps in the road I had! You are awesome, chicka!

Art Master Post: In the Dark

This time around, I had the pleasure of working withescapes. She is one of two authors for this Big Bang that I already knew (and met IRL...srsly, this seems to be a pattern for the authors I work with in big bangs ;)) But because I knew her, it made the experience that much more easier and fun! It was also great to read her fic since I had never read anything written by her before!
Please do go read her amazing (and shall I say, H-O-T) story over on her LJ :) Not to give anything away, but if you are a LOTR fan along with loving the boys, then you'll LOVE this story ♥ And even if you aren't, you'll love it anyway! Trust me! ;)

There were several moments where I thought I'd have to drop out as an artist, to be honest, because I was worried about the time and that I wasn't going to get anything done by the posting date (RL has been supes busy) but I made it! And here ya are! Hope y'all enjoy the art and the story as well (it's lovely :)). It was a pleasure to work with you, idahophoenix!

So, you may or may not have heard about this cause called Japan Calls. Some of your favorite celebrities may have been tweeting about the project lately. If you have no idea what it is, I'll tell you a little more about it. If you have, well this is just a refresher course for you! ;)
Basically,aimezetmusique and moeymoe, who are actually very good friends of mine, started this project. With the recent devastation that has hit Japan recently (today they had another earthquake...it's all so devastating :(), a lot of people have been wanting to help, but they aren't sure how. It started with an idea and Japan Calls was born.
This is their objective:
In the past couple of weeks, we have been trying our hardest to put the interest out there: tweeting celebs, writing on their fan pages, etc. It really has been a team effort. I have been helping out where I can to spread the word about this and it's grown beyond any of our expectations!!! We have generated an impressive list of confirmed entertainers. Some examples include Eliza Dushku, Kristen Bell, Mark Ruffalo, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jeremy Piven, Michael Urie, cast members from Queer as Folk, cast members from As The World Turns, Rick Fox, American Idol alums, Imogen Heap, Jay Brannan, Sia, The Veronicas and many, many more! Bidding for this charity auction begins tomorrow, Monday, March 28th and goes until Monday, April 4th at 11:59 PM EST. It will last for a week. Please checkjapan_calls for more information.

And here's my second and final lambliffbigbang art post! I thought doing art for two authors would be a piece of cake, but in actuality, it's quite a lot of work! In any case, it was an honor to work with sulwen, who I admire and adore as a person deeply.
During the course of this process, she sent me some very rough drafts of her story for me to read and even from those, I was already so emotionally touched, both in a negative and positive way. FYI re: the negative - it was a negative good, if that makes any sense? Like, I was bawling my eyes out but it writing makes you feel, down to the core of your being, that's really something!!!
Anyway, I struggled with how I wanted to depict art for her story but I ultimately decided on doing a fanmix.sulwen even graciously submitted a song herself! Thank you for that, bb! :D
This is my first fanmix ever and I hope it turned out okay! I may have gone a little overboard with the number of songs that made the final cut, tho. IDK what the "normal" amount is for a fanmix, but I'd assume anything less than 12 or 13 like a regular album? And lulz I have 16 songs here xD (At first I ended up with around 25 so there were a lot of rejects). I agonized hours and hours over the song choices but I'm happy with the turnout! I hope you feel the same way! Enjoy :D
Note: The song order is important. It starts off dark and depressing but it becomes more hopeful near the end.

Anyway, my new obsession (as of October 11th) is the relationship between Luke Snyder and Noah Mayer from the soap, (I know, I couldn't believe it either!) As the World Turns. Love the two of them to death. This week's episodes with them were really good (especially Tuesday), so therefore I made icons!!! xD
