Art Master Post: rot in the heart of the garden

And here's my second and final

lambliffbigbang art post! I thought doing art for two authors would be a piece of cake, but in actuality, it's quite a lot of work! In any case, it was an honor to work with

sulwen, who I admire and adore as a person deeply.

During the course of this process, she sent me some very rough drafts of her story for me to read and even from those, I was already so emotionally touched, both in a negative and positive way. FYI re: the negative - it was a negative good, if that makes any sense? Like, I was bawling my eyes out but it writing makes you feel, down to the core of your being, that's really something!!!

Anyway, I struggled with how I wanted to depict art for her story but I ultimately decided on doing a fanmix.

sulwen even graciously submitted a song herself! Thank you for that, bb! :D

This is my first fanmix ever and I hope it turned out okay! I may have gone a little overboard with the number of songs that made the final cut, tho. IDK what the "normal" amount is for a fanmix, but I'd assume anything less than 12 or 13 like a regular album? And lulz I have 16 songs here xD (At first I ended up with around 25 so there were a lot of rejects). I agonized hours and hours over the song choices but I'm happy with the turnout! I hope you feel the same way! Enjoy :D

Note: The song order is important. It starts off dark and depressing but it becomes more hopeful near the end.

After awhile I gave up trying to change the album art for all the songs. A few of them wouldn't cooperate and let me, so those are left with their regular album art. Some have no art at all. I tried to fix it but just gave up since I had to make this post /o\ Sorry, y'all! Hope no one minds...
